Community Connection: A CSR Project
As incentive professionals, we all hear and know how important it is to include community giveback opportunities into your program. Environmental conservation is vital for the continued sustainability of Hawaii. Impact 4 Good’s Go BLUE Racing focuses on the importance of teaching youth about environmental conservation and alternative energy at a young age, while also introducing important science, technology, engineering and math (STEM education) skills during a highly energized and competitive program for attendees. Teams use creativity and ingenuity to build solar surfboards in preparation for an exciting, single-elimination tournament. Along the way, teams prepare solar kits for local beneficiary students to learn in a hands-on manner, each with a handwritten STEM message of encouragement. One team takes home the checkered flag, but the real winners are the kids!
